Remote Stairlift Appointments

stairlift phone call

For the convenience of our customers, Stannah is now offering Phone and Virtual stairlift appointments. These remote alternatives are designed to help our customers find the right stairlift, without going through the process of an in-person stairlift appointment. While, in some cases, in-person measurements will still be necessary, this new process will allow you to get a sense of our stairlift offerings, our services and the cost of a stairlift, before anyone has to come to your house. We’re really excited about this new program and look forward to using it to better serve our customers. Check out the directions below and learn how to schedule a phone or virtual stairlift appointment.

Phone Appointments

Talk to a Stannah Stairlift Expert over the phone, discuss your options and, if feasible, get a price quote.

  1.  Call us at 5085204051
  2. Schedule your appointment and give us the best phone number to call
  3. Meet with a Stannah Stairlift Expert over the phone at the appointed time

Virtual Appointments

“Visit” our virtual showroom via video conferencing. See our stairlifts in action, ask questions, discuss your options and browse through our product catalog through screen sharing.

  1. Call us at 5085204051
  2. Schedule your appointment & provide a phone number and email address for contact
  3. Download your favorite video chat app from the Apple or Google Play Store. We’re happy to use whatever app works best for you. If you’re unsure, we’ve included some options below. Either way, we’ll work with you to figure out the best solution ahead of your scheduled appointment.
  4. Meet at the appointed time. The video chat request or meeting link will be sent to you shortly before the scheduled appointment. Accept the video call or click on the link to join the meeting. (Special note: make sure to approve all video and audio permissions, so that you and our representative can see and hear each other.)
How can we help?

Choosing the Right App for Your Virtual Appointment

Choose one of these five video conferencing apps for your virtual appointment. Or, tell us about your favorite app and we’ll use that to get in touch.

FaceTime

FaceTime is a built-in video conferencing app for iPhone, iPad and other Apple devices. It’s often the easiest solution for remote appointments and video calling, because, if you have an iPhone, you already have this app installed. For that reason, this app is the most popular method for our customers to get in touch with us for a remote video chat.

WhatsApp

WhatsApp is a popular messaging and video calling app that is available on both Apple and Android platforms. You can download the app from their website or directly to your mobile device from the App Store or Google Play Store. Setup is relatively quick and easy and using the chat, call and video call functions are all very intuitive.

Skype

Skype was one of the first major video calling apps to hit the mainstream. Now owned by Microsoft, Skype comes built-in on many laptops, desktops and tablets. If you prefer to use Skype on your Apple or Android device, you can download it from your respective app store.

Zoom

If you’re currently working from home, you probably already know about Zoom. Zoom is very popular among business professionals, as it is the most feature-rich of the apps we’ve discussed so far. Setup can be somewhat more involved than with other apps, but that’s mostly because Zoom is highly customizable. It offers screen sharing and allows for the user to set up specific settings and permissions ahead of the meeting. It’s a great app, if you’re familiar with it, but might prove challenging if you’re new to video calling.

Didn’t see your preferred app listed? No problem! When you call, just let us know what video chat app you prefer to use and we’ll be happy to get in touch using that.

Whether you choose to schedule a phone or virtual appointment, we’ll walk you through each step of the process. It is our goal to give you the full picture, so you have the information you need to make the right decision for you and your family. If you have questions or would like to schedule a remote appointment, call us today!
