If you only need a stairlift for a short period of time or the upfront expense of buying a stairlift seems daunting, the option to rent a stairlift temporarily might be the right one for you.
Stairlift (also know as “chairlift” or “stair chair”) rental programs can be a great option; do consider, however, that if you continue to rent for a long period of time, the cost of renting might actually add up to more than the full price of a stairlift.
Maybe all you’re looking for is a short-term fix, maybe you’re recovering from an illness or operation and will be back to your old self in a matter of weeks, or maybe a family member is coming to stay and you want them to feel independent in your home. Whatever the reason, we have the solution: our stairlift rental programs give you the option to rent a stairlift for as long as you need.
How does a temporary “stairlift rental” work?
A stairlift monthly rental plan means you get all the mobility access benefits of a Stannah stairlift, without having to make the full purchase upfront.
While you’re renting (short or long term), you won’t have to worry about any repair or service costs, and when you decide you don’t need your temporary stairlift any more, we’ll come and remove it.
We try to accommodate you, no matter what your personal requirements are. That is why we offer rental options on a range of new and reconditioned models. You pay for installation and the initial six months, then you can continue to rent month to month, buy the stairlift outright or have us remove it (removal is free of charge). As mentioned above, we also take care of the servicing and call-out costs for the duration of your rental period, which means you get the same assurances of safety, quality and comfort as every other customer.
Stairlift Rental Prices: How much does it cost to rent a stairlift?
Renting a stairlift is a quick and easy process. All we need is a one-time payment, which covers:
- free servicing throughout the rental period
- removal of the stairlift
The rental payment depends on the stairlift option you choose and will be determined when we measure your stairs. Once you’ve made that payment, there will be a set monthly fee for as long as you’d like to keep your lift. You can cancel the agreement at any time and are only committed to one month’s stairlift rent in advance, however the initial payment is non-refundable.
Our rental program covers our full line of stairlifts, including:
As mentioned above, the rental fee covers installation and any stairlift repairs needed while you’re renting. This is true, regardless of the stairlift option you choose.
If renting a stairlift seems like the right option for you, give us a call today. We’ll be happy to review our stairlift rental program and help you select the best short or long term option for your situation.
